Deborah Aguilar graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and is currently enrolled
in their Master’s in Social Work program. She has over 6 years
experience working with middle and high school students who will be the
first in their family to graduate and attend college both in the state
of Texas and Arizona. She has also managed a state welfare to work
program for residents of the East side and a parenting program for
families on the West side of San Antonio. This will be her third
overall year at Por Vida Academy as the Academic Advisor and District
Testing Coordinator.
